Temporary Steel Barriers

GKTM are the agents in the Republic of Ireland for Barrierguard 800 temporary steel barrier system. Barrierguard 800 can be used for temporary & permanent locations and meets NCHRP 350 TL4. It has been approved and is in use in many countries worldwide.

Key Features:

• The barrier is transported to the site on a truck carrying upto 180m and can be installed very quickly.
• Rapidly deployable ‐ on average a team of 3 will install 1km in a 10 hour shift.
• Barrierguard 800 has a unique quick mount system which only requires anchoring at each end.
• Barrierguard 800 is the lowest deflecting temporary steel barrier available – working width W5 at N2. 1500kg car @110mph 20° impact angle.
